CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking Deposits: For 16 and 20 Seater vehicles are non-refundable if a booking is cancelled within 45 days of commencement of hire.
Cancellation fee of 50% of hire applies for 16 and 20 seaters within 14 days of commencement of hire.
Cancellation on day of pick up or within 7 days of hire: Incurs the full hire fee.
Cancellation due to a COVID related matter (lockdowns, inability to travel, Isolation requirements) will receive 100% refund. Official evidence must be provided when requesting the refund.
What are the Licence requirements to hire a Luxury Van Hire vehicle?
All drivers must hold a full ‘Class 1’ drivers licence. If the driver is intending to be paid or rewarded for driving then a ‘PSL’ (Passenger Service Licence) and a ‘P’ (Passenger Endorsement) are required.
What are the age requirements to hire Luxury Van Hire vehicles?
Minimum age is 21 years old. Please note Insurance excess for under 25 years of age is $2,500 + GST applies with no option to reduce the insurance excess.
What happens if my itinerary changes after the hire has commenced?
There are no refunds provided for early returns once the hire has commenced.
What is the procedure for extending the Rental Period?

Are the vehicles air conditioned?
Yes, all of our vehicles have individual seat air conditioning that is vented throughout the saloon
Do we need to pay a bond to hire a vehicle?
No bond payment is required but we do require you to authorise the use of your credit card in place of a bond. We will store your credit card details securely.
Does Luxury Van Hire allow additional drivers?
Yes, you can have multiple drivers.
What type of mechanical breakdown assistance is provided?
Luxury Van Hire provides a 24/7 nationwide toll free number for FREE Roadside Assistance from our Mercedes Benz Service Network: 0800 320 230 (please note: you must contact Luxury Van Hire before initiating any repairs). In the case where the vehicle must be repaired. We will provide an additional vehicle for the remainder of the journey. The replacement vehicle will be determined by what is available.
Do you hire luggage trailers?
Yes we have trailers for hire with the 20 seat vehicle, which is recommended if it is a multi day journey with a large amount of luggage
